Thanks all.
Many thanks for the EC Pete, well pleased with that, now all I have to do is wait for the competition & see what the verdict is on the print !
Quote:there's a couple of marks on there
Yep,noted those Nick but I am loathe to get rid of them as they were there on the texture layer & I do enough PP as it is,they don't appear toooooo badly on the print.

I know you do....it's me,I'm a wuss at mono ( as you know) & never think the B&W/contrast range is good enough.

Soft and feminine but slightly gritty - Yes, I think you've achieved that result: Megan's expression reflects that effect exactly - a feminine but strong personality.
You always achieve such fine tones whether in colour or black and white and always with an impeccable sense of composition.
Well done!
You should do well in the competition you entered.

Beautiful shot Janet. I do not know what you are worried about with regard to your mono`s. Megan is a fanastic model and you always do her justice. Only trouble is I cannot decide if I like your still life`s more than your portraits or via versa. The quality of lighting, pose, softness of the skin tones are all first class.

Quote:Have you enlarged her pupils or does she just fancy you I wonder?
Mr U !!!!!!!!

Nope, not messed with her eyes,my portrait work is usually done in a dark room with just the modelling lamp on from the studio flashes...so I can see where I'm aiming

Any other Brummie niggles Dave...or do I get off fairly unharmed today ?
