Hahnemuehle newly designed website
The Hahnemuehle paper mill has been producing quality mould-made artists papers for over 420 years. Since its founding in 1584 they have developed experience and a tradition of excellence in art materials that have now been brought to the digital age.
Our rich history with traditional artists and close involvement with inkjet printer manufacturers have allowed us to develop a series of papers, specifically engineered and coated for modern inkjet and gicle printing. The result is the Hahnemuehle Collection of Digital Fine Art paper for Artists and Photographers.
The Hahnemuehle Collection is manufactured in the traditional mould-made and fourdrinier techniques that artists value for its unique rich look, feel and texture. No longer does the artist have to compromise on paper quality or the photographer have to settle on standard photographic papers to produce their work digitally. These papers are then coated for inkjet use to provide digital art media that will withstand the test of time. All our papers are acid free, lignin free buffered papers produced in accordance to ISO9706, DIN6738 and ANSI Z93.48-1984 standards for archive paper. The Hahnemuhle papers work equally well with thermal and piezo technology and with both dye and pigmented inks, providing a colour intensity and crispness not possible with non-coated art papers.
