We are a long-established, friendly but professional society whose aims are to promote and encourage all aspects of photography to anyone who has an interest in the media and is keen enough to attend our regular sessions on Tuesday evenings at the Civic Hall, Poynton.

All classes are catered for, whether total beginners or experienced workers, darkroom enthusiasts or slide workers. More recently, we have seen the great interest in digital photography regenerate the enthusiasm of many of our long-standing members.

As well as providing a strong programme of visiting lectures on a wide range of related topics, we organise regular competitions both within our club, and against other photographic societies in the North West.
