My name is Rick McEvoy, and I am a professional photographer based in Poole, Dorset. Whilst based in Dorset I am happy to discuss photographic work further afield.
I have been taking photographs all my life, having my own darkroom at the age of 13. My passion for photography has been with me ever since, and has grown over the years helping my hobby become a successful business. This passion and enthusiasm is reflected in the care and attention that I give to my work, and to my clients.

Architectural Photography, Interior Photography
I specialise in architectural photography, and love working in this technically complex and challenging area of photography. I enjoy photographing old, new, complex, interesting and unusual buildings and structures. It is demanding but rewarding to be able to reproduce the subject matter accurately and faithfully, with strong, sharp, vibrant, colourful, technically correct images.
But this only part of the story. Only once I have achieved this can I apply an amount of artistic license to provide my clients with something a little bit different, my artistic twist on their work. There are a couple of these examples in my gallery pages, which you can view from the link below
Building Construction Photography
I have recently completed work on some of the most significant construction projects in Poole, Bournemouth, Dorchester and other parts of Dorset.
I am an experienced construction professional, and as a current CSCS Professional card holder I can access your construction site quickly, safely with minimum disruption to your site activities.

I have extensive experience photographing all types of buildings, including residential, commercial and industrial buildings, all of which I have photographed for building owners, landlords, agents and estate agents.

Commercial Photography
My commercial photography has covered a variety of subjects from a well-known celebrity chef to a drum of nuclear waste, as well as commercial divers, Premier League footballers, international cricket matches and corporate events.
Corporate Photography, Event Photography
Any event, be it family, work or social can be covered, with the results published on the web for next day online viewing (if required). This immediacy ensures that event attendees can view images online while they are still fresh in their memory. I can photograph your event, no matter how big or small, ensuring that there is a lively, formal and informal (where appropriate) record of the day.
Sports Photography
I have photographed various professional sports including English Premier League Football, Test Match Cricket, Cricket World Cups and the Sunseeker Rallye, as well as the no less important School Sports Days!
Product Photography
I have just completed a product shoot of Catnic Lintols for CIB Communications Ltd on a lovely picturesque construction site overlooked by Corfe Castle in Dorset.
