The club has a varied program of lectures, demonstrations, and competitions to cover most photographic interests including digital imaging. The primary aim of the club is that everyone should enjoy photography whatever their level of involvement or expertise. It also aims to provide a platform for members to display their work by staging several exhibitions in the area throughout the year.

The club is not equipment-focussed and new members can be assured of a warm and friendly welcome regardless of their photographic equipment.
