York Photographic Society, founded in 1887 and reformed in 1932, meets at the Poppleton Centre, York from September 2011. A friendly, busy society we try to keep up with current trends in photography, we are actively seeking to improve our personal photography. This year for the first time we are starting Special Interest Groups in the society for more practical evenings but we will continue with our outstanding lecture programme of visiting lectures.
