Restricting my comments to issues not reported elsewhere on the Web.
Good little camera expected to replace my FujiFilm FinePix F100fd, which I used for about a year or so. About the same size, slightly lighter (160 g with SD card and battery).
A better O.I.S. (if set at S1) : creates good 1280x720 30fps videos when viewed on my 40" LED TV. Zoom (optical only) and OIS (S1) available while filming.
The older CCD is susceptible to vertical light streaks from strong light sources, such as reflections of the sun on glass or metal.
The focal length changes slightly dependent on the image format (4:3=25mm; 3:2=26mm; 16:9=27mm).
Sharp enough corner to corner if Vivid colour mode is selected instead of Natural (the default).
Need to do more low light testing, but camera tries to limit itself to ISO400 even when Auto800 is selected in menu.
