Bought this camera as an upgrade to my trusty kx, although I was aware that it has been known to have issues with aperture solenoid this had already done 18,000 shots so I thought if it was going it would have gone already, the seller advertised it with three excellent lenses,so for the price paid I was happy.

Now to this review, I have waited until I had owned the camera for over a year, now I have I will attempt to give a fair assesment, firstly no sign of any aperture solenoid problem and i've added around 5,000 shots so its a good one reliability wise, I love the camera's handling, as usual it is great with allsorts of pk/a lenses, some old ones provide excellent results including a mirage 135mm a miranda 28mm a makinon 24-50mm zoom and a sigma 100-300mm zoom, there is lots more but those are some of my favourites.

I have used it in a lot of different conditions sun / snow / rain etc, it has performed admirably the quality of photo's remains at an excellent standard. if you are looking for a good 2nd user buy you could do a lot worse.

things to remember when buying.............check its free from solenoid problems, make sure you don't pay over the odds (good examples should be available for around 150 now) try and find with a few decent lenses.

highly recommended but check carefully.
