This is without doubt one of the sharpest lenses I have ever had! Even wide open at f 2.0 it is amazingly sharp. The images it produces are excellent in terms of colour rendition, contrast and sharpness. It is manual focus but it does snap into focus very well. If you are thinking about buying this lens... go for it you certainly won't be disappointed.
