I am registered but can't login, why not?

There are several reasons why you might not be able to login.

Firstly, please check that you are entering your login details correctly. This means correct password and user name, ensuring correct upper and lower case letters and no hidden spaces in front or behind etc.

If you have forgotten your password you can request a new one by clicking here


Also ensure you have cookies enabled on your web browser for ePHOTOzine. On Internet Explorer these are found under Tools > Internet Options>Privacy.

If you have a firewall, please check it is not stopping cookies being saved.

I am unsure on how to register?

First you have to choose a username. You will use it to log in and it will appear when you upload a photo or make a comment. It can only be changed once, so choose wisely. Each user has their own username so sometimes you will have to try a few before you find one that is't taken.
Offensive usernames are not allowed.

Add your name.

Add your email - this is very important. If you enter it incorrectly then you will not receive our activation email and will not be able to log in. You can change it in the future if you get a new email address. It is important that you keep it up to date as we may try to contact you via your email if you submit a report or win a site competition.

The rest (DOB, newsletter subscription and terms and conditions) should be fairly straightforward.

How do I change my Username?

From the Portfolio dropdown click on 'My Settings' and then click 'Account information'.

To the right you will see your current username.

Please note that you are only allowed to change your username once, so make sure you are 100% positive that you want to change it.
