.........has just been won by one British person. . After the first million I wouldn't know what to do with the rest.

You could use the rest to wield power - that's what mega money buys! Wink

Example (a small one): you could hire a top-notch private eye to dig the dirt on Rupert Murdoch and really scupper his BSkyB bid. I know it's pretty much scuppered anyway but off the top of my head that's the sort of thing you could do.

And/or you could set up your own charitable foundation and try and do a bit of good in the world. Smile

Just keep an eye out for somebody uploading shots to the epz Gallery taken on the new Sigma SD1 or one of those Phase 1 digital backs ! !

Before they get too cocky about it, I just won £200 million on a Nigerian lottery!! Didn't even buy a ticket - my lucky day!!

If I won that amount of money, first thing I'd do is employ someone to deal with all the begging letters! Wink

Give £100 mil away to charity. Another chunk for friends and family and keep the rest......thats just too much money for one person.

Agreed a substantial amount should go to charity but I would want to have personal oversight of that charity - to ensure the money reaches those it's supposed to be helping and a minimum on admin costs. So I would set up a new charity. Smile

Maybe similar to the "Distressed Gentlefolks Aid Association", except it would be for Distressed Photographers! Grin

There is a farm down the road from us (Sturts Farm) that was turned into a refuge/school for down syndrome adults and children...they grow lots of fruit and veg and sell it in the farm shop......its a fabulous place and its kept open by charitable donations........I'd give them a couple of mil... With that kind of money I would have to dedicate at least £50m to many charities - of my choice.

Every Nikon Lens would be in my grubby hands, especially a 24mm Tilt and shift, a hell of a lot of UK based charities would be getting rather large donations and I would be handing in my notice rather swiftly!

Good luck to the person who won and I wish them anonymity to spend the money and set up their family for generations to come!

Ok come on - aim higher! Grin

It would be a Hasselblad H4D-60 for me, with its complete set of lenses (11 in all, I think - each a four figure sum!)
