35mm transparencies to digital

Most stock libraries wouldn't accept homespun film scans, Alamy being the [usual] exception to the rule. They'll certainly accept scans from the Minolta Dimage 5400 Elite, as per Ian's suggestion, and probably most dedicated film scanners. The el cheapo 'scanners' that aren't really scanners at all, but which merely take a photo of your slide, won't be good enough.

The flatbed Epson 700 or 750 scanners are good enough for medium format scans, but you'd be pushing your luck if you wanted to submit 35mm scans, so they're really out for this purpose.

Scanning is a ludicrously arduous and time-consuming task. Unless the pictures are exceptional or do, as mentioned, have historical value, you might be better off spending your time taking pictures of your own with a DSLR and getting some fresh air! Smile
