Hi guys, I'm struggling to find a supplier (in the UK) of something suitable to put 4 x 5 negs in to post off for developing, anyone know of any suppliers? Failing that, does anyone have any spare 4 x 5 film boxes that I could buy of you?

Silverprint
The above link is for archival purposes, but I'm sure if you were using the box for transportation, the developer would return the box if you asked them.
I use Silverprint for most of my darkroom needs, and would recommend them highly.

Thank you, Silverprint only do light proof envelopes in the size of 3 x 4. I didn't ask about any used 4 x 5 film boxes.

My other suggestion would be to mount the negatives between 2 pieces of stiff cardboard - like cut from a box and used to sandwich the negatives? Then place that in a padded jiffy - should be safe.
I always now send stuff by recorded delivery or special delivery as it seems to get there on time and in one piece.

I think that the OP is sending undeveloped film!

Ah okay, so light sensitive.
Maybe see if Silverprint(or other) have any light-sensitive black plastic bags, that are use to store darkroom paper?
