Happy New year each and all. Hope you all had a lovely festive period.

For Christmas, I received a 50 Jessops voucher, but am stumped on what to get. Any ideas of a decent buy from the expensive Jessops? I am not going to list what bits and bobs I have, other then say I use a Nikon D80 camera.

Thanks in advanced,

Anil.

Lol, Brilliant! 5 in 1 reflectors sound like a good idea! Any others?

No good, Mike,...you wouldn't get the change back in cash.

Doubt you would get anybody interested enough to take your money in the first place. Too busy standing around having the crack.

Just wait until the Christmas Trading figures are public- cos you wont be buying Jessops after that- not at a silly price anyway.

Get someone to exchange it for 45 in real money, then buy elsewhere. You'll save money. And do it quickly. The way high street names are dropping, they won't last.

I can't see much reason to go into that place, except recently when I wanted a slide film. The processing was cheap.

I'll keep the voucher and spend it in Jessops. It was a gift which someone went out to purchase for me, so I will use it in the Jessops shop. Thanks for your comment.

Anil,
I am sure you will be able to spend it as intended. It is fashionable to knock Jessops at the moment- sure some of the stores arent up to scratch. The store where I work on Saturdays- we are all proud of it and it shows. We get far more positive comments than negative ones. Could it be something to do with the fact that we are all enthusiasts about photography?
