Well, after the Harrier crash yesterday (it happened about 1/2mile from the office) I managed shots into - The Times (credited), The Daily Telegraph (credited), The Sun (not sure if they credited), The Daily Mail (no credit - damn them!), The Express (credited).
No, I didn't make 10,000 from it, but I do have more money than I had yesterday morning.
It's my first pics in a newspaper, so I'm kinda chuffed about that. And being as no-one was hurt, I still have a clear conscience (well, about taking those pictures at least!)

I presume you didn't have to resort to using your mobile phone to take the pictures Wink It does make me think I really ought to have a camera in the car with me more often. BTW - well done!

Nope - 5D, 70-200 (@200) + 1.4xII + 2xII - handheld at ISO 1000. I then cropped the picture before sending it!
I was first photographer there by virtue of being so close, so managed to get about 200m closer than any other photographer.

Well done to you for getting there, I was told by my daughter about the accident last evening by my daughter, by which time it was too late to do anything about it......Kids eh? I wouldn't have minded, but for the fact I fairly close to the area all day yesterday....grrrr.
But well done you!

Is there a link to it on the BBC site?

I presume the BBC (thats right, that excellent source of news and home of that highly acclaimed telly programme 'The Weather') have some coverage of it?

Right place at right time huh!?

There was an article in Photography Monthly about BBC not crediting photographers, and other magazines...

Well done!
