Have you noticed the unique properties in todays date ????

Written numerically as 22/02/2022, it consists of just two numbers...0 & 2 !!...but reads the same
either forwards or backwards !!!!!!!!!

It happened once before on 20/02/2002, about 20 years ago, with the next one due on 30/03/3003 ??, but
I don't think I'll be around to see it !!!!

A simple little fact, yet so unique in the history of the planet....& twice in my lifetime !!....Oooooooer !!!!!!!!WinkGrinGrinGrin

And if written digitally, as on digital clocks, then it is the same upside down...

Yes - I did notice it as I have just revisited some of my old images and always retitle them with the date added - so it became clear to me - but I wasn't aware that it has happened twice in our lives nor how unique that is! Thanks for waking me to reality!

If you include the time in the sequence so twenty-two minutes after 8pm
yesterday would read 20:22/22/02/2022 ?.WinkGrinGrin

You’re dead right there !….but at 80 years old it’s one of the things I’ve
got masses of !!.WinkGrinGrinGrin !!….my health isn’t brilliant, so I’m restricted in
physical activities with Sciatica, & with the restrictions of Covid my jaunts
round the Lake District for my landscape work have terminated & even
local walks are of short duration & distance…it’s all very frustrating !!.Blush

Keeping my photographic interests ongoing relies a lot on EPZ , which
stimulates my sense of well-being viewing the work & opinions of all on
this wonderful website…….keep it coming, I need it !!!.GrinGrinGrin

Totally agree with everything you have said Keith - except I have no wife (or husband any more) but daughters and grandchidren and some great grandchildren, all of whom live too far away for me to see them more than very rarely. Plus I can walk now no further than 20 yards and stand for less than 10 minutes. I do a little indoor photography and flowers in the garden in the summer but looking at other folks wonderful work does give me great pleasure and usually I don't get too jealous of the ability to go out and photograph such a wonderful variety of images. Just occasionally something appears which I wish I could get to photograph myself. So I am a wee bit older than you Keith and this past week I have been so grateful for the folk on here and my good fortune in having a warm and comfortable home which has stayed safe in the extreme weather we have had, so please everyone keep your photography going and your conversations - they are often the only words I hear in a day!
