A word to the wise

To those considering mirror lenses.
Whilst some current DSLR's can utilise screw mount lenses via the apropriate T adaptor, in a lot of cases where you have inbuilt flash they wont physically fit as there isn't enough clearance between the "nose" of the flash and lens body without fitting a tele extender.
There are a plethora of mirror lenses going cheap on various sites, and whilst they offer plenty of bang for buck, especially for doing some limited lunar/astrophotography/wildlife photography, having to use a teleconverter means they are totally impractical.
I just thought I would save someone else from making a what could have been £100 mistake.
Luckily in my case the dealer I bought from had been insistant that the lens would fit, when it wouldnt so I was able to obtain a full refund.
