ACR 13 is driving me mad!Sad

How do I save defaults so that they apply to all RAW images I open up. Specifically, to set sharpening and colour noise reduction to zero.

On previous versions of ACR it was (e.g.) possible to set the Adobe defaults to apply to the ACR preview only but I can't find that option in version 13. Am I missing something? And yes I have scoured the web for an answer .

Have you tried putting your question into the CC manager (at the top there is a 'Search panel). I just tried it and there is an answer - but I am afraid the link was is rather long - but I have pasted it and you may be lucky.

The answer which is I think to your query is the 4th one down.

It has all changed but possibly for the better once you master it. Try Raw Defaults

I found this helped me to set the previous Camera Calibration profiles that I had generated and also set sharpening and noise reduction to zero or at least low. This is automatically applied to my images when they are imported. It is now done by presets but a different preset is applied according to which of my four cameras is used. LR recognises the camera by serial number. I was initially annoyed about the change but, after seeing Laura's article, I was able to sort it out and all has worked well since.

Well I'm using a workaround but it does seem like a downgrade from previous versions.
