Adobe Photoshop CC 2019
Hi, anyone else having problems loading the above since recent update? Lightroom update working. I am using windows 7 Home edition. I have tried uninstall and reinstall including older versions but not getting beyond splash screen with message windows detected problem. Windows updates are all up to date. Any thought/advice appreciated.
The latest PS CC will not upload on a Windows 7 machine. I have an old laptop which I tried to update all the CC software on but it said it needed Windows 10 Creator. I updated the OS to Windows 10 and Adobe has loaded with no problems.
If Adobe want to justify their subscription model by saying you're getting free updates, the model breaks once the updates don't work on a particular machine. If you took out the subscription and there was nothing saying it wouldn't work on Windows 7, then they should either make sure all updates do (which is going to become impossible at some point) or stop charging you.
However, there are many other good reasons for upgrading to Windows 10, so just do it.

By the way, if you Google for "upgrade windows 7 for free" or such like, you'll find that even though MS said the free upgrade finished some (long) time ago, it might still work - I picked up a Windows 7 machine from my other (work) office a month or so back and ran the upgrade and it worked for free.

It is probably how you computer is set up. Worth contacting Adobe.
