Told you I didn't know what to do with the flash never mind how good it is LOL
I think i will just do my usual point at the moon cross my fingers and press the button !
I also have a Sony DSC H9 with nite mode that will probable take pics better by itself than I ever can with the Nikon !

Just been sat in the garden taking some pictures of the beautiful moon its so bright out there and the Jackals are calling the crickets are chirping its a beautiful evening in Africa oh and its a nice warm 28d

It looks good here in California. Clear and 100 mile visibility. 17c. I see a few clouds on the sat photo moving this way, but hopefully they will stay away until it is over. Good luck!

had a go photographing the moon for the 1st time the other night and not as easy as I thought! managed to get a few in focus eventually thank god. Anyone got any tips over best settings to use for this sort of photography?
