I shoot with the Nikon Z6 and I am looking at getting an ultra wide lens.

The Samyang 14mm f2.8 has caught my eye due to price and performance.

However, given the choice what would people go for in my situation and why

14mm MF - Z mount or

14mm AF - F mount for use with the FTZ adapter

What subjects do you intend to shoot with the lens?
If its landscapes & astro, then you don't really need auto focus anyway.

On a Z6 the extra bright viewfinder (relative to a DSLR), focus peaking and ease of zooming in to check precise focus makes manual focus easier with a wide angle than with a DSLR.
