Might say September but if you want any of these good things I'd advise you to get to your local Aldi at 9am on the 24th November. The gear will be in store on that date.

There is a typo on the top of the ad, it says September but the deal starts on Nov 24.

I need a bit of advice. Now I'm setting up in business I'm considering buying a new PC as mine is a little past it (I know, a bit like me). I'm somewhat out of touch with PC component architectures so can anybody tell me if that Aldi deal is as good as it looks.

Given that I don't need the TV tuners, will probably never use both DVD burner and ROM simultaneously and would like 2gb of RAM are there any better deals out there? I've been taking a look around but the only ones I can find at a better price seem to be missing things like the OS.

All advice appreciated.

I bought two Aldi (Medion) PC's about 18 months ago and promptly had them taken apart by an IT guy....who was amazed that all the internals were branded high end hardware.
If you lived in Germany, Medion would be as recognisable to you as Dell over here.

Both machines have worked without problems so far.

Cheers Keith, always good to have the opinion of somebody who's used them. I must admit I'm highly impressed with the Medion tablet I got.

Theres no Aldi over here but IIRC Makro also sometimes run the medion pcs.

I'm not looking another one myself as I usually build my own but will keep an eye out for a cheap one for the nephew. Cheers guys.
