Hi....just noticed that Amazon also have the new Lumix Gx8 in stock with 14-42mm lens and 100 Panasonic cashback.
The price is 649 for the chrome and therefore 549 after cashback.
Viewed this in store today.....but was heavier and larger than the OMD I've purchased

I find not a single model is suitable for all the purposes. Canon 5 D (classic to MkIV )are superb for most of the usage but Canon 7D MkII & EF 100/400 mm comb has proven beyond doubt for wildlife photography. Oly OM D E-M 5 Mk I & Mk II with kit lens M Zuiko 12/50 mm are superb for most of the events. Lumix G1 to GH 4 are fine with most of the Lumix lenses GX 7 is good but GX 85/80 are still superb. Cant say beyond Nikon D 90, since I sifted to MFTs.Used, Sony Alfa 65/77 with success but, A6000 & NEX 6 sytems looks handy efficient light weight. Finally, found the best, very recently from Fuji XE 1, XM 1 with kit Fujinon XF18/55 mm & XF 55/200 mm. The kind of performance a critical photgrapher wants compairing film era experiences (with B&W Color Neg & Positive films like Astia, Provia & Velvia), wll never feel dishartened.

I was very impressed with the Fuji film colours my X-10 high end compact gave, Great sensor, but I was disappointed that the EXR sensor was dropped on subsequent cameras.

Having said that the XT-10 was on my short list including the Sony A6000, I opted for the Sony A6000, great camera but very disappointed with the E mount APS-C lenses, which I won't go into here as there is plenty on my other posts. I now have buyers remorse and wished I had got the Fuji, don't get me wrong the Sony is a very good camera but! But, I have consolidated my collection and reverted back to my 4/3 E-510 and M/4/3 EM-10 cameras, Yes the E-510 is way out of date but colours that only Fuji come near to and for landscape, perhaps with the exception of Canon are the best. This is only my perception and I'm sure other people will have other priorities.
