An Epic Journey - Part One

Little Grey and Little White are two beluga whales that embarked on a journey of over 6000 miles from Shanghai to the world’s first beluga whale sanctuary, created by SEA LIFE Trust, in Iceland this spring.
To document this momentous feat, Olympus wildlife Ambassador, Tesni Ward followed their journey capturing images of the pair to share with the world and these images are going on display at the After Nyne Gallery in London this December.
“This exhibition marks another important step in this world-first project. Tesni’s photography provides us with a long-lasting legacy which will help share the important story of Little Grey and Little White and the bigger picture that they represent. We hope her powerful pictures will highlight the complex nature of this world-first project, but also all the passion, commitment and many, many people that it took to make this journey, a reality” – Andy Bool, Head of SEA LIFE Trust.
