I've got an old Ensign in the bottom of the wardrobe.

I'm told that it's the "Coronation special" version which, I suppose dates it from 1953.

It came with a film in it which is still there.

I've never used it.

My first camera was the Kodak 110 - the film cartridge was so easy to load!

Slightly off topic but long after the Brownie 127 my first SLR was a Canon AE1 and I still have it, along with it's successors, a T70 and a T90.
The T90 was simply amazing, several (I forget just how many) frames per second which of course required advancing the film. Never miss the critical moment - but it had a big appetite for film of course.
