Hang on a minute I'm getting a vision Anna dressed in leather playing a horn.......Yeah! No pole dancing in 81........Sad

81 was pretty poor for entertaining motors Smile

I still remember the 1st time I took a corner in a 2.8 capri. It was entertaining, well it kept me occupied, for a lot longer than the original corner.

The worst car my dad had in the 80's was a bottle green Reliant Robin which was terrifying, whenever we went up a hill he used to tell us to lean forward and push, and as petrified children in the back seat we did!

My uncle thought it really funny to rock it really hard side to side when we were in it and it nearly went over.

Ahhh, those were the days......

Do you remember the sporty version of the Robin, the Bond Bug I think? Bright Orange (did they make any other colour?)

I remember it well! (as the song goes)

Glanfield Lawrence - who were a main dealer for Reliants - were just across the road to me.

My favourite was the BMW Isetta, which we had sprayed Goodwood Green.

Valve guides used to go regularly, and gear change linkage adaption from LH drive to RH drive was terrible, despite regular changing of the various bushes.

However, we had a lot of fun in it, and for a 10 + mile run and back every day along the North circular (Islington to Park Royal) it was warmer than the motorcycle.

Have to say I thought it was ok, I don't think the female character works, at the moment. Her voice is very annoying.

I might be wrong but I think the Quattro didn't come out until 82? So I guess it may have done a little time travel too! Quattro best car I every had, well the Cosworth was maybe a little faster but the Quattro had something special.

Quattro was out in 80 but left hand drive only, right hand drive from 82 on.
Liked the show, The female lead is to full on for me, think it should have dawned on her a bit slower.

Great show, classic cars, classic lines.

Right. I'm off to fire up the Beemer.
