Auto focus issue

I have a FujiPix S3 with a Tamron 90mm macro af lens
I shoot intra oral photos and have always used manual focus
All of a sudden it started auto focusing and I have no idea why or how to stop it
I slide the ring on the lens to MF and it still does AF
Can any explain how to get back to manual focus?
Is this a function of the camera or the lens?

Thanks for your help

If you look at the camera from the front, there is a switch on the right of the lens that says M S C. You need to make sure that's switched to M for manual focus, as the other 2 mean Single and Continuous, which are both AF. If it's a lens problem, someone else might be able to help.

Sounds like it may be an issue with the mechanism when sliding the focus ring to MF, also is the switch on the front of the camera body set to 'M' ? (Snapper beat me to it)
