Is that a route march or by car with stopoffs?

I may be up for this if I am free that weekend so can you put me down as a possible Arnie.

Cheers Arnie. The Doc's told me to lay off very strenuous walks these days so I just wanted to be sure.

Mind you if Andy's going it can't be that difficult. :0)

the road across wynose and hardknot is a driving experience
6ft wide and a 30% hill on a clear day views a brilliant

Arnie, this looks a great idea - I do a lot of my shots in the Lakes. Your proposed route is one I often take and should be good. Regret I won't be able to come on this occasion as I'm on another trip 9th Oct but hopefully next time.

Been over Hardknot and Wrynose loads Arnie and I totally agree. Mind you the first time we went over was in thick fog in a Standard 10 with a boiling radiator and no handbrake!

Sounds like a good one but sadly I am away (Isle of Mull) so can't go. I will watch out for any future dates though..

Don't bet on it Arnie!

I would love to have gone on this one but unfortunately I'm otherwise engaged. I'll look out for future dates as well.
