B&W films

I've only ever used Ilford films for B&W. I know that the reports of Ilford's demise are exaggerated but they prompted me to ask what other B&W films people are using. I'm particularly interested in fine grained, slow to medium speed, 35mm and 120. No chromogenics. Any recommendations?

I have been told that Fuji Acros 100 is one of the finest grained B&W films around at present. I develope it in Tmax developer and I am very happy with it. There was a thread similar to this a few days ago.

Kodak Technical Pan (ISO 25) developed in Technidol - peerless.

I use Efke R50, rated at 40ASA developed in Neofin Blau... grain? what grain?

Thanks for the pointers. According to Kodak, Technical Pan is no longer made but perhaps there is still some stock available, Michael?

if not Efke do a 25ISO film (very picky on exposure tho), and MACO do one as well.
