Barn Owl Centre Meet?
I have a voucher burning a whole in my pocket for the Barn Owl centre in Glos. Thought maybe a meet with some fellow members would be a great way to use it. Not sure how to do this, so if anyone is interested perhaps they could help get the ball rolling. Vince seems up for it, and said he can sort some dates.

Looks like a Spring 2010 EPZ meet is now due especially now Spring is upon us.
Thanks for posting this thread Dan, now we need to get the numbers up to about 12 if we can.
The dates I can offer at present are weekdays only, weekends are out because we are open to the public, weekdays means you will all have the place for yourselves without any interruptions. The question I need to ask is who can do weekdays & which day would be best for everyone, a Friday would be be good
Birds used for the day will be Kaln & Turner (Eagle Owls)
Leighton (Buzzard)
Ms Man (Female Kestrel)
Ollie (Tawny Owl)
Luna & Gyzmo (Barn Owls)
Willow or Bobby (Little Owls)
Tess (Long Eared Owl)
This will be a full on five hour photography day with a price tag of £50 per person, this is £10 cheaper than our normal price, a discount for Epz folk only.
If anyone wishes to bring some of their own props for the birds to be perched on or to be flown too, please bring them along with you, natural perches & props are used here anyway so no need to worry.
If we can make the day a Friday in May, that would be brilliant for us this end. The best time would be late afternoon taking into account the evening light which is better for photography.
Feedback from those interested would be greatly appreciated, names can be put it this thread to start with, once the interest is there I will create a meet in the meetings section of the site.

Looking at our diary, the only Friday we have available is Friday 21st May, if this is not possible then we need to look at June. Can folk let me know if this is a day to hold a EPZ meet.
