Hi Guys...
I fancy a trip to Bass Rock but due to the nature of my work it is very difficult to book well in advance and trips from the seabird centre are almost fully booked...can anyone tell me if their boats are the only ones that can land on the rock
Regards
Terry

A few years back boats used to leave for the rock from Anstruther but whether they still do,I`m not sure. May be worth checking. Some cracking shots of Gannets to be had.
There are still daily crossings from Anstruther to the Isle of May which is a famous bird sanctuary as well.
Pete.

They're the only ones licensed to land on the rock, yes, so they are your only chance if you want to shoot closer than just from a boat circling the rock.
