Is there a best time to upload photos to the website?
I have seen a lot of pretty ordinary images with a vast amount of votes whereas some stunning images with hardly any.
I suppose its all a matter of taste. As long as the photographer likes his/her image thats all that matters.
I tend to upload in the mornings and struggle to get into double figures. Ah well - back to the drawing board and time to improve my photography.

LOL.... here we go again...LOL
As you said, as long as you like, it really doesn't matter how many votes you get.

I think that you'll find that on Wednesdays 20:47:14 is the optimal time. Any old ***** will do well then.

Well Sundays are difficult because they are skewed by any bank holiday. On those weekends the Sunday time is greatly affected by people not being in to view until much later than a normal Sunday.

Monday mornings, as its the first day of the week and everyone logs on to find who's uploaded.(plus they use the firms time to do it)

Don't get into the habbit of thinking what people say on here really matters.
It doesn't.
If you like the image and more to the point, if you have a use for it elsewhere, thats what matters. (IMHO)

There is nothing wrong with uploading images for confirmation that people appretiate your work or for recognition.

Of course the most important thing is that you are enjoyig your photography and getting satisfaction from the photographs that you produce.

But... it is also good to know that others enjoy what you are doing and that you are improving as a photographer technicaly, asthetically and creativley.

Ephotozine is as good a place a any to gain this recognition, enjoyment and satisfaction from your photography. If you wish to upload your images during peak times so that as many people see your photographs as possible.. do so.. you will get invaluable advice, critique and appretiation for what you are doing.

You will find a lot of negativty regarding thge voting system within these foums... ignore it and do what is best for you.
