Bird ID please.

Found this bird struggling to fly 100 miles North East of Shetland. There is a bit of dispute among the boys what it is.

Is it a Ruff by any chance.

Not a Ruff but def a young something, it does have a Plover look about it.

Thanks folks, I guess it is a plover of some description. It was wandering around looking dazed and confused on the Cormorant Alpha platform, one thing I'm sure of is that it ain't a cormorant......
