Black Fox Sighting

Being that Foxy Loxy gets so much coverage here, some may be interested in this little snippet from the BBC

A short video sighting of an elusive black fox.

The reporter states that the exact location of the sighting is being kept secret as the guy who spotted it has been offered 1000 from a taxidermist to provide details of it's whereabouts, however with a certain website and a bit of gumption you can soon find the exact location in about 10mins.

Be nice to see some black fox shots, photographic types that is!

i wont
if it wasnt for taxidermists we'd lose all sight of "what it looked like" instead of "heres an artists impression.." BUT i shall agree at least that the animals should die of natural causes not be killed for stuffing (dont get me wrong there)

matt.

So we need two traps, one with a camera for the fox, the other with lots of cotton wool and fire poker for the taxidermist Wink

I think photos of the latter would prove more popular!

.... not feeling well, deprived of compassion for your fellow creatures...OMG I feel sorry for you...

Perhaps you would like to volunteer to be stuffed, so we can be reminded of what you look like.

Artist impression my backside

What's wrong with taking a photograph

Interestingly the taxidermists of the victorian eara were very active and yet we have only small numbers (comparativly speaking) left of their works = and there were many species hunted to extinction by collecters and tazidermists = all despirate to get that last sample and complete the set.

One hopes that this black fox will evade the hunters eye - though its probably more likley to get hit by a car Sad

Foxfire I agree with you 100%...but having him stuffed so we can be reminded of what he looks like...mmm...is he good looking enough that we would want to be reminded of what he looks like???
I will also see your 1500 and raise it to 2000 Wink
