I am using (or trying to use) an Epson 1290s with a continous ink system.
For some reason I am getting no yellow flowing through although 'priming' the cartridge is working fine..........Any clues/hints?

On my Epson printer, in advance settings, I can increase or decrease the amount of the different colours. (Some paper manufacturers suggest putting the magenta at +4 for some reason).

Try wacking the yellow right up and see what happens.....

You could try a document with only yellow in and see what happens as well. Create a text based image and colour it yellow (pure as possible) with the flood tool. Doesn't have to be too big.

When you say the priming is working OK, I presume you are saying there are no air bubbles in the tubing.

Will be interested in the results of this as if my next entry for a year-long competition is any good, this is the prize (a 1290 with CIS).

I have tried on several occations printing a square of pure yellow.......no joy - not a drop.
Alltubes are completely free of air bubbles and there are no air bubbles coming through the cartridge when drawing ink through with syringe
