I recall the story about him when given a grant (yes they did then) to buy paper, most people bought a box of 10x8. He bought 10 24" x 30" or similar the largest he could get with the money, and got 5 or 6 prints off it.

Guess who got the most notice at the end of term show!

I too was saddened at his death and often think how he would have loved and led our present fetish scene.
