StaryCat, it is that mentality that leaves our telecom network so painfully slow.

The whole point is to push the boundaries so the outer groups receive reasonable speeds.

- The beneficial features of having 100mbps between computers everywhere would be unparalleled. (way beyond just internet browsing)... At those speeds you can really begin to get the ball rolling with mesh computing, WLAN cloud processing, 802.11ac...

Maybe then you will start to realise why things that arnt "practical" are still beneficial.

Just got an offer by email for my providers "Nitro" service, at 100mbps for download. They justify it for streaming movies and video, so maybe it will help some.

Just had by standard BT BB upgraded to Infinity (Fibre to cabinet) This is the 80Mbs service and I was told I could expect speeds of around 64Mbs. I'm getting around 74Mbs this morning with upload speeds of 13Mbs. I was getting 9Mbs download speeds previously so I'm totally happy GrinGrinGrin
