Bust King Remote Shoe

14 Mar 2019 5:43PM
Hi all.
I have a King remote receiver that I dropped, and no, I didn't get away with it. I broke the corner of the shoe.
I tried trusty resin for a fix it, but no luck.
It's almost brand new so would rather get the part and fix it.
So my question is. Does anyone have an old King remote they don't want that I can recover a part from?
I've been onto to ask if I can purchase the part. No reply as yet.
See image of what I need. The screw driver isn't part of it Tongue

You could ask around to see if someone with a 3D printer could make you the part.

Is that even a possibility?

In theory yes but just not practicable and probably very costly You would need to draw a comlpete replica of the part (to scale) in 3D modelling software .

Btw, which adhesive did you use ? I assume the broken part is hard plastic. I have found Araldite far superior to most adhesives for plastic repairs (there are different types for different materials ).

Didn't think so. Tongue in cheek I think.
I can't even get a response from Pixel about buying this tiny part that is damaged. Tried email and even on FaceBook
Poor support indeed. May put me off ever buying their stuff in the future.
