Just as an update... I've succesfully used WE 3 times in the last 2 months , turned out (for me) it's to do with the option of "I have purchased before or will use a 3D secure card".
As soon as I realised I's kinda skipped by that, all was fine.
My humble apologies to WE for my stupidity
I even put through an order on Friday evening for a Canon EF 24-105 L lens , and have been using it all day today (Saturday).
