Hi,

I'm a beginner in the photography world and have been snapping only for a few years and I'm looking at investing in my next lens and need help selecting it.

Do I go with the 24mm - 70 AF-S 2.8 or something like the 14mm - 24mm?

What camera have you got? And what do you like photographing most?

Hi,

I have a d5600 and a D2X s, my lenses currently are nifty 50 1.4 and a 70mm - 200mm, plus a stock lens but I dont really use that one.

I like taking photos of nature, portrait, skyline, clouds, architecture. These are the main types.

I would go with the 24-70 then the wider angle.

If, by by that, you mean the AF-P 18-55VR which (I think) would have come with your D5600, then I'm slightly surprised as, despite being "only" a kit lens, it actually performs extremely well.

Apart from that, as has been said above, I'd get the 24-70 f.2.8 followed by the wide angle.

Based on what you like to shoot I would go with the 24-70, then if you want to specialize later in architecture you could get the wide angle for effect.
