Anyone treating themselves to a little photographic something this Christmas?

It's been a tough year, and who knows what 2010 will bring... but sometimes we just have to do it Wink

I've not decided whether I will or not... though I am conscious of the VAT rise being imminent which could tip me over the edge!!

I have already spent too much this year on photography so the answer is no !

Have made a couple of entries in the epz XMAS draw on things I think may be useful, so fingers crossed Smile

Ah yes, I've put in some draw entries too. That would be a real bonus.

The VAT rise is hardly that significant unless you are thinking of buying a 1DsMkIII or 600mm f/4 Wink

Methinks you are just looking for an excuse to splash the cash!

Whatever you decide to buy enjoy it.

Cheryl - how dare you cast such nasturtiums... I have clear reasons for desiring more kit. I've heard it will take much better photos.

pluffy - congratulations on your purchase

Oh yes, I just bought myself a 80cm light cube , for the grand total of 35 including p&p (I got mine from his e-bay site, which had one auction, the others are all buy it now). That's it, and really for business reasons, but I'm sure I'll have fun learning how to use it!

....and why not too ?

The more I read about folk who have never done an honest days work and are cashing in on the benefits system, the more I feel that if there is anything I want and I have the money then i'm 'gonna buy it and sod the consequences.

I've been tempted by a nice Canon T60 (which are quite scarce) and may buy it as a little christmas treat to myself, even though I had decided a T80 would be the next addition to my collection.

Well if got spare cash you always buy me something nice. A Sony 9000 or maybe a g lens or a battery grip, a set of studio lights, a day with a professional model etc lol
