C-41 or traditional?

The C41 process didn't just remove the silver but the entire emulsion from the mono film!

When processing chromogenic mono film in C41, we could omit the bleach step if we wanted to. The result is a slight increase in contrast.

Are the Z manuals still available? I foolishly threw mine out.
