Yes I saw that. My collection of imaging devices numbers a paltry 6 - and that includes 2 smartphones and a tablet. Only 3 "proper" cameras.

I've always wondered how many cameras EPZers have in their collections. Perhaps they would like to tell us? Smile

(But this is NOT a competition!! Tongue)

Five, which all work, one of which is a film camera.

I also have an "Ensign," twin lens reflex; a model which was only produced between 1950 and 1953. I acquired it some years ago, with a film in it which is still in there. I'm assuming it doesn't work.

That's without a smartphone and a tablet.

About 70 mostly film cameras and nearly all of them work. Two 35mm SLR I use from time to time, a mint Nikon FM2 and a Voigtlander Bessamatic from 1959. I have a Canon EOS ix APS that I want to try out with a b/w film when I am released from captivity!Smile

I only have between 30 and 40 and many don't work.

Quote from my wife when she saw the news story: "Don't you go getting any ideas!"

What a lovely story, I hope they do get to turn it into a museum and it doesnt get broken up and sold off because they have no option.

My collection numbers about 50 cameras including my first SLR a Yashica Pentamatic which I bought in Singapore in 1960. Most are kept in an old display cabinet which is also about 60 years old if not more.

A lovely story but I'd never recreate it.
Everything gets traded for the next toy.
I'd never appear of Antiques Road Show

I have more cameras than some people have but far less than Jim or pentaxpete!
