Can anyone help please

I have a photosmart 7960 printer great pictures when i print on plain paper but as soon as i print on photopaper the image turns red , I have tried different makes of photopaper but same result ,I use a mac and have tried all the usual calibration and settings but no change,Could someone please help it is driving me nuts.

Are you using original ink and paper as using compatibles is one of the main causes of this also do a head clean after using plain paper this sometimes works hope this helps

I would first check whether the printing program is sending the image is a special colour space. try printing from a word processor as well as a photo editor program for example.

Next I would check for new printer drivers, and I would crawl through all the printer menu's checking it knows the paper and ink combination you are using.

I would be tempted to play with the printer ink settings and turn down the red.

Finally you could print a test image and send it off to be colour profiled.
