I am looking for a relatively cheap film scanner, preferably under 100

I know Epson do a flat bed scanner with a slide attachment, has anybody tried it?

Any advice would be greatly received

Thanks in advance

There's not much about at that price. I use a Canon 4200f flatbed scanner
with a built in film scanner, 35mm only. You can scan 4 at the time using strips or 2 mounted slides at the time. I use mine mostly as a flatbed scanner though.

I have to say that it does a very good job scanning films though. 3200 by 6400ppi. If test reports are anything to go by it did very well. It costs between 70-80. If you intend to do a lot of film scanning I would suggest something a bit more expensive like the Canon 8400f or the Epson perfection 4490. Both of
these are tested in this weeks AP.

i use the epson perfection 3170 flatbed, it scans prints, negs and Trannies, a little above your budget at around 200 quid, but excellent value for money all the same.
