I won't let SWMBO near a pair of my trousers. DIY every time.

Camilla's face could have been missed by the staff, though.

Any man with military experience is likely to be an expert at wielding an iron! I know some who wouldn't let their wife or mother iron anything of importance.

Bring back National Service …Ironing was one of the first things they taught us, as well as darning and the sewing on of buttons and cloth badges…. As well as..Drill, weapon training, gas training, health and hygiene , PT/Sports, Craft training, etc etc ….

Yes! of course men can iron if they are taught how to do it….

But not the washing up…..ruins my hands….(.honestly )

It is used in golf, normally you have from 3 iron to 9 iron plus wedge and sand-wedge in your bag. Woods are also used...

I haven't allowed anyone, other than myself, to iron my clothes since I was in my teens!

I demand too high a standard. smug-light.jpg

LOL - I learnt it at school, and now 40 years later my boys learnt it at school, scouts teaches it. I think it boils down to do men want to iron when someone else willingly does it. At ours its about a 50 50 split done when items are needed rather than ironed and hung/folded etc.
