Canon DC2 electronic viewfinder

I have a Canon eos M camera, its my backup camera. I would like to fit the electronic viewfinder on it, I have seen info that it fits the M£3 onwards, will it fit the EosM?

Hi Frenchie44,

The Canon DC2 will fit the following cameras:
Canon EOS M6
Canon Powershot G3 X
Canon Powershot G1X II

The original Canon EOS M doesn't feature the support for the electrical contacts on the viewfinder.
