This Lens is available for pre order at Park Cameras, it has a built in 1 . 4 TC just been reading about it the million dollar question is how much will it sell for on its launch i wouldnt be suprised if its over 3 grand what do you reckon to it

At least 7K, the Nikon version no tc built in is near to 5K, and Canon are gready.

The Nikon is 4,500 and as Canon telephotos seem to be slightly cheaper on the whole I would guess a shade under 4 grand. But that is street price - I would expect the launch price at around 6 grand or so.

The highest estimates I have seen are 10 grand in US dollars so the British price is likely to belower than that.
You are talking there about the release price and if you look at the street price it is oftern 30% below that.
