if it's an eos 10 film camera it's different... that camera has an infra red wireless remote (which incidentally also triggers the 300D) but will not trigger the eos 10D digital camera - you need a wired remote for that. I know cos I've had all 3 cameras. and have got both remotes.

Hi Guys

The RC1 is an infrared remote, I had one for my EOS 30, but gave up with it and gave it to my brother. I prefer the wired remote as it's not affected by strong lighting eg sunlight. You can easily extend the RS60E3 remote using an audio extention (for headphones) and add a standard jack to mini-jack adapter. I've got the bits if you fancy ridding me of something I never use. You can give Pete a donation to EPZ in lieu of payment.
Let me know if you're interested.

I have one of these that came with my EOS10, many years ago. I was quite pleased it worked on my 300D but like Jo got a RS60E3. My problem with the RC1 was that the sensor on the camera is on the front, which is not too useful for wildlife photography.

Hi Jo this is very kind of you,I would gladly donate to Pete, you say you have the parts that I need I assume this does not include the remote itself, if this is so where can I purchase this. Please e-mail me for my address.
