Would like some advise please. Would like to use laptop as remote and instant view for my sx540 for table top photography. Any idear how to do this please.

The camera itself would have to have the ability to operate in :tethered" mode, which I dont believe that model can.

If it has wifi, can you control it with the Canon Connect app on a smart phone?
